Pool Rules - COVID-19
The pool will open on May 23rd and remain open daily until further notice. However, due to the current situation, we are having to implement the following new measures:
- The pool will be open daily from 12PM - 9PM only. It is closed the rest of the time and DO NOT ENTER.
- There will be a limit of 25 people allowed in the pool area for now. As the guidelines in the county change, this number will change.
- We are recommending to limit your time at the pool to no more than 3 hours so that others have a chance to enjoy it also.
- New waivers will be required to be signed.
- There will be lifeguards and pool monitors present. If these people are not present, do not go in.
- Every household will be required to badge in. If your key doesn’t work, do not argue with the monitor and get in touch with Joe Drewnowski for new keys.
- Do not argue with the lifeguards or the monitors, they are there to ensure safety for everyone. Anyone reported could be subject to a fine and / or ban for the remainder of the year.
- Trespassing charges will be filed for anyone that is in the pool during the closed hours.
- Community pool furniture will not be put out at this time due to sanitation requirements. You may bring your own chairs.
- Random breaks for sanitazation of the area will be required but we don’t know those timings yet.
- No guests allowed at this time due to the low occupancy.
- Remember to social distance when waiting to enter the gate, in the pool area and in the pool. Now I understand that there are people in this community that do not like these rules and will refuse to follow them. I won’t name anyone but I want those people to keep in mind that the county has guidelines that we must follow and as we saw at Easter, they take them serious even if you don’t. So, don’t be that person to get the pool shutdown for everyone else because you or your kids don’t like the guidelines. We have cameras set up and have sent letters to homeowners that have been identified already for violations. Obviously, as things change in the coming months, these rules will be updated to meet the new recommended guidelines. We are all doing our best to adapt to these interesting times and I hope everyone understands and comes together to ensure the safety of everyone in the community at the same time being able to enjoy the amenities.
